Property Taxes
April 1 is the deadline to file for Homestead Exemption in most counties in Georgia. Homestead Exemption provides property tax savings for many homeowners who owned and occupied their home on January 1, 2025. Spring is a great time to reach out to clients with information on how to apply. Also, senior citizens, disabled veterans, and teachers may have additional exemptions and savings. We have included a link to our Homestead Exemption Guide that covers many of the counties and the documents needed to get the ball rolling.
