Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for Columbus Office
GSH Attorneys is looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for our Columbus office. This position will provide front office support, general administrative support, and will serve as the firm’s first impression with clients, vendors, and other visitors both in person and on the phone. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A receptionist with great customer service skills and the ability to grow with us
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and ability to work independently
- Strong work ethic with positive attitude; team oriented
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to changing conditions
- Exceptional phone etiquette, with a pleasant and professional telephone voice
- Strong sense of confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgment
- Real Estate Law experience a plus but not necessary
- Proficiency in MS Word 2010, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency using standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier, printer, fax, etc.)
Essential Functions
- Prompt and regular attendance
- Professionally administer all incoming calls and ensure calls are redirected accordingly
- Greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
- Coordinate and process incoming deliveries and route within the office
- Maintain and coordinate scheduling of conference rooms
- Responsible for general upkeep of reception area and adjoining rooms
- Coordinate general office maintenance (notify building management or appropriate vendors for repairs)
- Perform a variety of basic clerical duties
- Flexibility to undertake additional duties as assigned by other departments within the office.
