Mills has more than 25 years of experience in Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law.  Mills’ practice focuses primarily on the handling of Commercial and Residential Real Estate acquisitions, sale and loan closings, contract negotiations, drafting and review of contracts, loan documents, reviewing title examinations and resolving title issues.   Mills graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance in 1993 and obtained his Juris Doctor from The Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1996. 

Prior to joining GSH, Mills maintained a private practice providing commercial and residential real estate closing and title services work as well as wills, estate planning, the formation of corporations, and LLC’s. Mills is active in the Alpharetta, Georgia community and currently works with multiple fundraising and volunteer organizations.  Mills has served on numerous committees and leadership programs in Georgia and has been a long-time volunteer at his family’s church. Mills has also been active as a football coach and volunteer at King’s Ridge Christian School.  Mills is the very proud father of three amazing children, Ryan, Emma Claire, and Jordi and has been married to his best friend, Jen, for over 20 years.
