
Marianne T. Shaver serves as Of Counsel for the Suwanee office. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, earned in 1991. During her time at Lehigh, Marianne demonstrated her leadership and teaching abilities as a Teaching Assistant for the Business Law Professor and a Drill Instructor for Beginning Latin.
Marianne returned to her hometown of Atlanta to pursue her Juris Doctorate at Emory University, graduating in 1994. While at Emory, she was an active member of the Legal Association of Women Students and organized the club’s Res Judicata 5K, a fundraising event benefiting a local AIDS foundation.
Since 1994, Marianne has specialized in residential and commercial real estate law. She is a sought-after speaker, frequently presenting at ICLE seminars for Georgia attorneys and leading educational sessions for real estate agents on topics such as contracts, titles, and closing practices.
Outside of her professional career, Marianne enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Matt, and their two children, Matthew and Sarah. Together, they can often be found attending family events or exploring Georgia’s hiking trails and waterfalls. In her quieter moments, Marianne loves reading historical fiction novels.
