Harry Minsk serves as Of Counsel in the firm’s Suwanee (NE Metro) office. His practice
focuses primarily on residential real estate, and he estimates conducting in excess of
50,000 closings in his 40 plus year career. With respect to his practice, there is nothing he
hasn’t seen and no situation he cannot handle.
A native Atlantan, Harry graduated in 1981 from UNC Chapel Hill and in 1984 from UGA
Law School. After a brief stint as a litigator, Harry realized he would rather put deals
together, so in 1985, Harry joined the law firm of McCalla Raymer. Seven years later, Harry
was named the firm’s youngest partner and for the next five years, Harry managed
McCalla’s most successful office.
Then in 1997, Harry joined the law firm of Ganek Wright Dobkin as an equity partner
managing its Gwinnett and later Braselton offices. For 29 years, through several changes in
the firm’s partnership and names, Harry was the one constant.
Harry is a frequent speaker to both the real estate and lending communities on a variety of
relevant topics. relevant to the community. Harry has been called as an expert witness and
of primary concern to Harry is the growing threat of fraud within the real estate community
perpetuated by the increased reliance on technology.
Harry and his wife have two wonderful adult-age children. Outside of his professional
career, Harry enjoys exercising, golfing, reading and traveling. Recently, Harry picked up
the electric guitar in his quest to constantly be learning.
