Amy Humes Norris

Amy Norris is an attorney in the Columbus office. She began practicing law in Atlanta, starting in insurance defense, then moving to real estate. She moved back to her hometown of Columbus in 2005, and worked in trusts and estates as a trust officer, first at Synovus Trust Company, then at Raymond James Trust. Amy has a real estate sales license in Georgia and Alabama.
Education
My undergrad degree was at Southern Methodist University- I graduated in 1993. I got my JD in 1998 at Walter F. George School of Law (Mercer). I practiced insurance defense for about 7 years in Atlanta, and 3 years in Atlanta of real estate closings. I returned to Columbus in 2005, where I began working in Trusts and Estates, First at Synovus Trust (under Synovus Bank), then Raymond James Trust until 2018 when I began working as a Realtor. I am still a Realtor, working at GSH part time and the remainder of my time at Coldwell Banker.
