Lynn M. Wilson is a Partner with the firm.
Lynn practices in the investment portfolio market space. She represents both private equity and publicly traded SFR portfolios as well as manufactured home portfolios. In this practice, she routinely handles multi market brokerage matters pertaining to the marketing , acquisition and disposition of investment portfolios, securitization of portfolios, property management and landlord tenant matters.
Lynn also litigates matters in magistrate, state, superior and federal bankruptcy court pertaining to premise liability, personal injury related to failure to repair claims and mold claims. She initiated and now manages the firm’s Landlord/Tenant Practice. This practice area represents landlords and property management companies of single family investment portfolios as well as multifamily, manufactured home communities and commercial property owners. The average dispossessory filings in the practice are in excess of three hundred (300) filings per month. An integral part of the firm’s landlord tenant practice is providing assistance to clients in formulating best practices in the operation and management of the rental portfolio. To that end, Ms. Wilson routinely provides recommendations regarding lease forms, addendums, vendor purchase agreements, lien waivers, service provider agreements, property management agreements, and other documents need to insure her clients are in compliance with statutes, regulations and local ordinances. She has performed such services in 35 market states.
Over her 30 year career, Lynn has represented parties in both commercial and residential real estate transactions. She regularly represents lenders pursuing foreclosure and provides title related services in anticipation of foreclosure. Her litigation practice and real estate practice often intersect giving rise to her being called upon to represent parties in quiet title actions.
