Ashley represents developers, builders, purchasers, sellers and lenders in transactions at all phases of residential real estate, from land acquisition and development to closing homebuyer sales and refinancings. Ashley’s practice benefits from her experience litigating and negotiating title disputes and challenging property tax assessments.
After practicing in “Big Law,” Ashley transitioned to public service as an Assistant Regional Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the Social Security Administration, where she advised and represented the agency in employment law matters.
An Atlanta native, Ashley earned her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review and inducted into the Order of the Coif. Ashley also completed her undergraduate degree at UGA as a participant in the prestigious Honors Program. While in college, Ashley studied Spanish and French, and she maintains minimum professional proficiency in both languages.
Ashley and her husband live in Marietta with their four shelter mutts.
